How to Use BP Chart Along with your Omron BP785 Monitor

Human blood pressure is the measurement of the pressure that the blood flowing through your arteries exerts on the inner walls of the same. BP is said to be high or abnormal if the pressure exerted on the walls is greater than the normal. What is the normal range of blood pressure? BP is measured in the form of a fraction, which has the systolic measurement at the top and the diastolic measurement at the bottom of the fraction. Systolic pressure is the pressure that the blood exerts when the heart pumps out blood while it contracts. On the other hand, diastolic pressure is the pressure of the blood when the heart is relaxing. 120/80 is considerably the normal blood pressure that a healthy person must have. A BP chart is a tabular representation of the blood pressure, both systolic and diastolic so that you can track your BP and stay healthy. A blood pressure measuring tool like the Omron BP785 is required to measure your blood pressure. You will get both the electronic as well as the mercury gauge tool. The mercury gauge tool is outdated and not in extensive use these days but they give you the most accurate result. Measure your systolic and diastolic blood pressure on your Omron BP785 blood pressure monitor and compare it with the chart.

Being diagnosed is essential to know if you need to see a doctor or take an antidepressant. The BP of a person can change throughout the day and any value at a certain time cannot be reliable. The readings must be taken many times a day and then the average value should be considered as the pressure of that individual. This value is termed as the MAP or Mean Arterial Pressure. This may otherwise refer to the number at which you find the mercury brim rest at throughout the day. Normal MAP measuring has been found to be 93mm of mercury.
